Queen Of The Mold Premiere Featured in Seacoast Newspaper:

Seacoast Online covered the premiere of Queen Of The Mold at the 19th Annual New Hampshire Film Festival, writing:

”Kicking off the day in the first block of short films was former Nashua resident Lizzy Bryce’s ‘Queen of the Mold.’ Bryce’s first time at the festival, with a film she describes as a ‘feminist horror-comedy,’ is going well so far. ‘I’ve only been here for a few hours, but it’s lovely! There could not be anything better than this festival,’ she states.”

Thank you to Seacoast Online and Meagan Wisecarver for featuring the film. Click here to read the article.

The Washington Post reviews “50 ways…”at Capital Fringe:

Lizzy was a playwright participating in “50 Ways…”, a play featuring 50 break up songs based on the Paul Simon song, 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover.

As references in the article, Lizzy wrote two scenes referenced within the article: Prom King & Queen and Facebook Breakup.

“In one scene, Moses, perhaps the most adept performer at morphing in every scene, acts as Facebook, trying to get Walpole to check on her ex at four in the morning when she can’t fall asleep. It’s funny, and a little too true.”

“That’s not to say all the breakups are depressing. One scene sees the demise of a prom king and queen after they fail to agree on gerrymandering the lunchroom. (Perhaps one theater nerd for every jock table is representative, but is it fair?)”

DC Metro Arts reviews “50 Ways…” at Capital Fringe:

“Abstract selections sprinkled into the melting pot of relationship problems really gave this production volume, allowing one to consider the nature of separation rather than the human interest value inherent in relationship dramas. Two standout scenes come to mind: Andrew Boyd and Katie Peyton’s The Calving Chunk, in which Mayo is a chunk of ice breaking off from a glacier represented by the entire cast huddled together wrapped in a white sheet, and Lizzy Bryce’s Flowers Growing Apart, in which Browne and Walpole play two flowers bemoaning their inclination towards rays of sun going in the opposite direction.”

“n addition to Knowles, the playwrights include Aaron Nauta, Andrew Boyd, Katie Peyton, David Zellnik, Emma Goldman-Sherman, John McGarvey, Kurt Opprecht, Lizzy Bryce, Mariana Newhard, Sarah Duncan, Sam Graber, Ginger Myhaver, and Hugo Pellinen, a mouthful of diverse talent that ensured that each glance into the event of being left or leaving, felt distinct. 50 Ways… is an emotional tour de force, channeling the tragic, comic, mundane, ridiculous ways in which things come to part, while also making excellent use of a diverse and dynamic cast to spotlight potential combinations of identity — couples old and young, black, brown, white, gay, queer, straight, and everything in between.”
