LIZZY BRYCE
writer. director. Horror lover.
Lizzy Bryce is a horror-obsessed writer and filmmaker in New York City. Her creative projects have been featured in The New York Times, Splitsider, Gothamist, Brokelyn, and The Washington Post — which called her writing, "funny, and a little too true.”
Queen Of The Mold, Lizzy’s feminist horror short film, premiered at the 2019 New Hampshire Film Festival and is currently touring festivals internationally. It was picked up for distribution and is currently streaming on Hueman TV. Her horror pilot HAGS (which is all about evil sirens, naturally) was recommended by The Black List on Twitter last summer.
Serving as Production Supervisor, Lizzy recently wrapped production on writer/director Claire Ayoub's feature film, Empire Waist. As a video producer and director, Lizzy has worked for theSkimm, Yellowbrick, and UCB Comedy, among others.
Lizzy was named by KitSplit as one of the Six Inspiring Women to Watch in Film and Photography, and was previously a finalist in The WB’s Emerging Directors Program. Memberships: Filmshop (Manhattan Chapter & Writer's Den); Liz Kimball’s The Collective; New York Women in Film & TV; League of Professional Theatre Women.
